Rental car broke down. Agency said they would send someone in twenty minutes. We waited over an hour. Received a newer rental car. That car also broke down on the last day. A neighbor was able to jump start the vehicle, (we could've missed our flight home). When we expressed our disappointment to the agency, the gentleman stated the second car was "newer" and shouldn't have broken down. No apology was given to us! Disappointing. This was the fifth time we've rented from them.

Horrible customer service. Don't even try and reserve a certain vehicle because they won't have it! Reserved a jeep and they said they wouldn't have it until 3 days later. Said they would call...they didn't, so I called and of course they didn't have the jeep still and they were very rude on the phone as well. But don't worry, they gave me a whole $18 off a $400 bill for inconvenience. Don't rent from them!

We informed the client about the non availability as the previous reservation extended their stay due to personal reasons . Also we gave a higher cl*** vehicle respecting the same deal as the jeep wrangler . Moreover we reduced 18$ which was about 8 -10% of the total amount .
My last six rentals have been with Empress, enough said!
Empress Car Rental was perfect! We arrived a bit earlier than expected and didn't have to wait. The car we requested was ready and waiting on us. Filling out the paperwork was quick and easy and the price was an exact match to the quotation we had received online. All-in-all, we got exactly what we were promised and I'll definitely be looking into Empress again this summer. ;)
I had no idea the gas station was gone in Simpson Bay and didn't have time to refill so was charged 12 bucks for gas used 1/8 a tank. Just let renters know the station is closed and advise where to go. I just didn't have time to go find a station.

Especially appreciated the very quick drop off and ride to airport. We had an 8 o'clock flt and someone was there at 6a.m., dropped the car off and on our way in 5min. Great service.
The quoted amount and the final bill was better than the quote. The people were extremely friendly and would recommend Empress highly. I have been using them for 10 years and they are very consistent
