Great experience for a great price. I was skeptical about not using the usual suspects but was glad I gave it a try. Would do it again.
The WORST service experience ever.
The original quote was not respected at all.
One day before the start of the rental period we received notice that our original car (Mercedes Deluxe Sprinter) wasn't available. They sent us to another rental agency, then to yet another one, where they offered us a lower quality and brand vehicle (Ford Transit) for even more money than our original quote, which wasn't respected at all.
Ended up paying way more money (25%, more than $500) for a worse vehicle.
This was a great experience, was able to move around easily and renting this van helped make our trip better! Would rent again 100 percent
We loved working with EZ Rent A Van and Sun Diego Car Rental - the staff at both places was knowledgable, friendly, and helpful.Our only complaint/concern was the condition/reliability of the vans. All 3 vans we rented had an issue of some sort (a possible alternator issue with one, a check engine light on another and an A/C issue on the 3rd) While the van issues were a problem, the customer service we received to rectify the problems was amazing! We would definitely rent through them again!
Attempted to rent a van in San Diego CA, for whatever reason, the address listed for this company does not belong to them near the San Diego airport.
My reservation was for 2:00pm, I arrived at the incorrect location 15min early. The man in the office asked if I was with EZ van, and then informed me that they kept sending people to the wrong location, his location.
After making over 20 + phone calls to the office number, which no one answered, I gave up on attempting to rent their vehicle.
They were extremely busy and we did have a few issues but they handlers everything efficiently.

Even though we reserved our cars 14 weeks in advance they canceled both our reservations within 3 days of our trip and we had 17 people we were transporting for a mission trip.
I was very disappointed, I reserved a 15 passenger Ford van and was only offered a 12 passenger van but it was more expensive then the 15 passenger because it was a Mercedes Van. When I called EZ Van rentals I was told there was nothing they could do and it wasn't their problem they said I could cancel so i did and found a van elsewhere. This is horrible to leave a customer hanging like this especially when they have 14 other passengers relying on the transportation too.!
EZ Rent a Van did not inform us that we would be picking up the van at Nu Rental Car. When we arrived at the location on the reservation, 3705 Pacific Hwy. it was closed. I called and left a message then received a reply an hour later after returning home from Nu Rental who was given the message. This was a huge hassle and wasted almost 3 hours of our time to then go to Nu Rental and wait to rent a van from them since there was not one ready for us. Missing Mercedes logo and noisy van.
