When I was shopping around for a wheelchair accessible van, I found Florida Van Rentals to be most reasonable. The pick up at the Hyatt was convenient. The vehicle was sub-par (nothing power, ran very loud) but got us where we needed. I am disappointed with my final bill. I was charged with 2.5 gallons of gas (@$10/gal) and I filled up within 5 miles of the airport. I'm not sure where all the van was driven after I dropped it off but I don't feel I should've been charged for miles I didn't drive

Rental van was old and the wheel was wobbly. Did not sign documents to confirm an additional reservation but they charged my card anyway. They kept my card on file and transferred it to another reservation. This is so wrong. I feel duped. Do not rent from this company

As it was a hockey team we requested that the back seat be removed and paid for the service. It wasn't until we went to pick up our two vans that we were told it wasn't possible as they were being returned to a different town. Had we been told this we would not have gone ahead with booking as we needed all the roomthis would have provided to transport all the hockey gear. In the end all the players and equipment could not fit in we had to have some of the parents take players in their rentals

I was disappointed the vehicle is left at a hotel for pick-up/drop-off and that I am responsible for the parking fees. There is no one at the hotel who could check the vehicle for damage, or explain the vehicle/tie-down operations. When I picked up the vehicle it wasn't full of gas (close) but I am expected to drop it off full but who verifies anything? I didn't like the conversion, my son's wc barely fit between the two back seats and it is a normal size chair and the ramp is very steep.

Pick up and drop off were extremely convenient. We were a bit anxious prior to leaving as the agency didn't confirm our rental 100% until th day before leaving due to them waiting on confirming our insurance last minute. Other than this frustration it was a great, convenient experience.

They changed the rental location, placed keys in the gas cap, did not confirm reservation until the day before, charged for an additional day that was not rented and now have to go to a billing dispute with my credit card because no one from customer service management will call you back. DO NOT RENT FROM FLORIDA VAN RENTALS!!!!

Dear Mr. Hilton, after further investigation into your case and reviewing the notes. At the time of your rental pickup there was construction going on at that location that was out of our control. however the rental agent notated that they had advised you of this situation and had said that you could pickup the vehicle one day early, not return the vehicle a day late. Since our vehicles rented in close intervals this caused a problem with the next rental following yours. We do apologize for the inconvenience but I was unable to find any fault on our part. We would be happy to extend you a courtesy discount on your next rental. Thanks for your understanding.

The handicap accessible van we rented was far below my expectation. It had a serious transmission problem and would downshift anytime the vehicle ran 70 mph. Additionally, the auto locks on the drivers side did not work, and driving with a passenger that is handicapped and not able to reach the passenger side auto locks, proved to be a challenge. I called into the company twice and left messages about my dissatisfaction and never heard back from anyone.
