Global would not rent the car to me as they said they do not rent to Canadian drivers (or Peurto Rican). This was very disappointing as I had to arrange a ride to and from the car rental agency. I was able to rent a car from Avis for the duration of my trip. I will never rent from Global or refer Global because of my experience.
Horrible company I called when landed at airport and I was told they work with third party company so here I was with no rental no one called or email. Not good not reliable I was so upset. Never again
I booked reservation online come to airport I call they tell me they no longer her working with third party so I was on vacation no rental. I did not get a call or email or anything letting me know about this. Never will I use this again I will just stick to bigger names at the airport rental
I made reservations to rent a car several months ago. I never received any information on my rental. So I contacted the booking website that I use and they said they no longer do business with the rental car company and that I needed to contact them directly. So I did that. The agent gave me an email that I needed to send my information to. I sent the email and I never heard back from anyone. Extremely unprofessional and I haven’t looked at my credit card yet. That should not be a charge.
I booked a car reservation on 9/7/2024 to pickup/drop off at Orlando airport. However when I reached orlando and called for shuttle they confirmed that they cancelled their relationship with kayak and did not hononor my reservation, they gave me a number to contact kayak but I got no response. Finally I had to pay high price at last minute and made new booking from another rental car provider. I never recommend this junk site.
Had a rental car since October and the day I was supposed to need it in December nobody answered when I called and I was at the airport waiting, I called 5 or 6 times and no answer so I had to use a Lyft. I called the next morning and somebody said the reservation was there but not valid because of something with kayak but I didn't get any emails or calls that I wasn't going to be able to rent the car. I was left stranded at the airport after a long trip and I would NEVER rent here again.
I waited an hour for pick up at the airport and called 3 times to get information. The process once at the desk took much longer than I have ever experienced but the young man was courteous enough. I asked about toll rates and was given erroneous information and then when I inquired after the rental about any type of reimbursement, I did not receive feedback or a response after the initial acknowledgement they would look into it. I would not recommend this company.
Arrived at MCo at 7am, Called the rental around 8am, no one pick up. Finally, someone pickup and says they will send a shuttle to pick us up at the airport. A few minute later, the person called me saying that they dont have any vehicle available until 1pm, yet my reservation stated 8am pickup. He hangup and i tried calling back to check if I still have a reservation, but no one pick up. I called again at 2pm to check if i can still get a car and the guy told me that my reservation was canceled
Awful! I emailed several times with no response. Replied to their confirmation emails and still no response. Arrived at MCO airport and called the number to arrange the shuttle bus, they eventually answered and said they didn’t have a minibus free for us so we were left stranded at the airport. Had to get several Ubers and then wasted a day of our holiday trying to sort alternative transport for our holiday. Would not recommend!
Arrived in Orlando. Waited an hour for the shuttle which then refused to pick me up as my car that I reserved was unavailable. Left standing at the airport.
