This experience was absolutely disgraceful. You never picked us up from the airport, and we rented a second car from a different company after waiting 90 minutes at the shuttle station. You didn’t answer 12+ calls from me and eventually blocked my number. You still charged me even though you never showed up and never provided the rental. This is easily the worst company to exist anywhere. Shame on you.
This was an absolutely terrible experience. No one told me my reservation was canceled, I fly all the way down to Orlando and call them only for them to tell me that the reservation was canceled and that I just had to “figure it out”. I then had to pay over $250 to get another car last minute. Horrible company. Terrible customer service. I will never use this company again and make sure no one else does either.
Global Car Rental in Orlando is the most dishonest and corrupt business I’ve dealt with in years. Their actions prompted me to call the police who showed up and took a report. Furthermore, I have sent formal complaints to the Attorney General‘s office and the Orange County consumer division as well as the BBB. You should cease operations with this company.
It was confusing to get to the pickup area and the map function in the cars display didnt work so I had to use my phone.
Could not get in touch with anyone. When I finally did, he stated that my reservation was received and that I should be good. On the day of pick up, no one answered or replied to me via email, text, or calls. When I arrived, a young man told me that there is no vehicle and that if I can wait til the next day he might have one. Now why would you do that to someone. If you don’t have it for the day of the reservation, let the customer know. I had to delay my trip and scramble to find a vehicle.
Reservation cancelled because they said car was unavailable and could not do anything….very unprofessional and discourteous…will never go back…ever
the rental agency never picked us up from the airport. They left us stranded and never picked up their phone.
The guys were awesome , our flight got delayed until after 10pm and they waited for us with no issues, very impressed
I called ahead of time to confirm my reservation. Although Global acknowledged my reservation, they indicated that Kayak had not charged my card, so they released my van. I was put on a waiting list and told to call back. No luck when I called before my takeoff. When I landed, I called 29 times between 5:45 and 6:15. No answer each time. Forced to Uber all weekend.
We were never picked up. Got a Taxi to the address of the rental place they were no longer there. Found a different address and got an Uber there and they were not at the address either. Found on the website that it was permanently closed. Had to call for an additional Uber to take us to the resort. This was totally a scam. Will be disputing all charges with my credit card company.
