Insurance options weren’t included in the daily quoted price so that resulted in a bit of a surprise when I was asked to select an insurance package upon picking up the vehicle; and the basic comprehensive package of $13.95 per day is quite substantial, being 57% of the quoted rental price of $24.40 per day. Also, the car had more wear and tear / dents and scratches than you’d normally expect from a rental and wasn’t that smooth on the road (wheel alignment / balancing issues I suspect).

As you can appreciate we cannot address small scrapes or door-dings after every rental and usually re-fresh painting per quarter. We also note that you extended your rental from one week for a further 6 days and is still in the rental. We do not rent our cars with wheel alignment needed and we would like to have this immediately addressed. Coverage/Protection options for all rental car agencies are offered at the counter. Our protection options are highly desired and our customers let us know that when the appropriate protection is applied that our rates are the best. We work hard at keeping our rental rates low and allow for rental coverage to be chosen by our customers based on their analysis for risk determination/tolerance and meeting all legal requirements for coverage. If you pay with a debit card, you’ll be charged an additional deposit on top of the rental fee when you pick up your car. This is common, however for most of the rental companies in Grand Cayman the deposit amount is astronomically high. This company charged a very small deposit; I got it back very quickly after the end of my rental session. The full-coverage insurance was also very cheap. The affordability and customer service quality at this company is unmatched. Would rent from them again.

i reserved a car and then got called to say they didnt have the car and down sized me to a car that was too small . I reluctantly accepted . Then , one day before cruise left ( and i would be on ship with no internet access) they called me as i was driving to port and said EVEN the smaller car was not available !!! Very suspicious ... I would never use these guys' !!!make sure you have a back up plan . I learned a lesson

Thank you for your feedback. For transparency to our valuable customers: This customer was a cruiseship customer in port for a few hours. We received his booking request a couple weeks before the date he required a rental. We immediately contacted them to advise that the category of vehicle he was requesting on his booking REQUEST form was unavailable during the busy holiday season that he had requested. We did not place the customer in another rental without their consent for a change. What impacted not only his rental on the day before arrival, but 6 other reservations was the fact that we had 3 Motor Vehicle Accidents within days of each other. Each of those rentals had multiple bookings on them and they all had to be moved or rescheduled where possible. This was outside of our control and we worked hard to accommodate all reservations with the exception of this customer who we could not fit into the schedule unless it was a small car. This was determined to be appropriate since the customer wanted a 7-seater SUV to start with. We work hard to ensure all our customers are satisfied. There are times, such as having 3 MVAs, where our service is greatly impacted. I do not believe that would be different from any other agency on-island. We hope you enjoyed your stay in the Cayman Islands.
