i reserved a car and then got called to say they didnt have the car and down sized me to a car that was too small . I reluctantly accepted . Then , one day before cruise left ( and i would be on ship with no internet access) they called me as i was driving to port and said EVEN the smaller car was not available !!! Very suspicious ... I would never use these guys' !!!make sure you have a back up plan . I learned a lesson

Thank you for your feedback. For transparency to our valuable customers: This customer was a cruise ship customer in port for a few hours. We received his booking request a couple weeks before the date he required a rental. We immediately contacted them to advise that the category of vehicle he was requesting on his booking REQUEST form was unavailable during the busy holiday season that he had requested. We did not place the customer in another rental without their consent for a change. What impacted not only his rental on the day before arrival, but 6 other reservations was the fact that we had 3 Motor Vehicle Accidents within days of each other. Each of those rentals had multiple bookings on them and they all had to be moved or rescheduled where possible. This was outside of our control and we worked hard to accommodate all reservations with the exception of this customer who we could not fit into the schedule unless it was a small car. This was determined to be not satisfactory since the customer wanted a 7-seater SUV in his initial booking request. We work hard to ensure all our customers are satisfied. There are times such as having 3 MVAs, where our service is greatly impacted. We do not believe that would be different from any other agency on-island. We hope you enjoyed your stay in the Cayman Islands.

Pickup was great as they were dropping off someone so cannot say how it would have been if we had just called. Staff was courteous but slow to process paperwork. Gentleman that inspected car for damage was a trainee but excellent and pointed out small scratches. Car had 343 miles on it so perfect. Return was the same, very slow but courteous. I will rent again as best prices on the island.
Still waiting on final bill with credits back so we will see there but believe all will be well.

The car was in rough shape, they add a lot of extra fees for cleaning when returned, but the most important deterrent for renting from them as while they advertise they are close to the airport the free shuttle is very difficult to arrange and may require you to walk the 1.5 miles to the airport.

Thank you for the feedback but with respect this is skewed and inaccurate. Your rental returned during off-hours, our hours of operation are posted online on our website and all over the agency. We also provide info on using our key-drop box and a list of taxi numbers for the short less than 5 minutes ride to the terminal. You used our drop-box and obviously made the decision to walk to the terminal instead. We did review our files to ascertain if our front-line agent verbalized the off-hours return process on Sundays and can confirm that he did not. You would know that we contacted you and gave a free day on your rental as our way of saying sorry that he failed to remind you of the options for off-hours return. In regards to fees: fees are only charged when our rental agreement is violated. In your case you returned the rental with suntan lotion all over the inside panels. This requires extra cleaning by our independent vendors and they bill the agency. How would you feel if you received a filthy car with suntan lotion on the seats or panels? We offer a clean sanitized safe rental and our customers appreciate and tell us this. Read the reviews below. We are not sure exactly what is the "rough shape" of the rental that you refer and shall entertain that you were frustrated that our shuttle service was not available during advertised off-hours. We believe honesty and transparency is always the standard and we shall share the clearer picture with our customers. We know they appreciate that because, again, they tell us this.
