Our pickup was nearly an hour late, the processing time took forever and we nearly missed our scheduled event. Then the staff refused to drop us back off and we had to take a taxi to the port. This delay made the car rental worthless as we barely had any time to use the car. Will not recommend.

Transparency to our loyal customers: This customer and their party were cruiseship guests (in Port for a few scheduled hours). they reserved two rental cars for the day.
On the rental morning, we phoned a few times for the scheduled pick-up and no one answered those calls. When we did connect, we picked-up at the new times. While the two rentals left our agency that morning at the same time after processing, they returned at two different times later the same day. Our counter team asked the first renter if they would like to wait until the next group in the other rental arrive back at the agency so that all can be taken back to the port area at the same time. The first renter said no and that they would take a taxi back to the cruiseport. We took the customers in the second rental (from the group) back to the port. We believe in honesty and transparency and we shall let our customers understand context and details as they are important. Thank you for your visit.
Was told I would be picked up @1:30. I waited till 2:30 and called several times. They mentioned being busy; that does not justify me sitting there on vacation & waiting. More appropriate would be to reach out BEFORE 1:30 and let me know they are running late. Also when I dropped the car off I waited and waited; then I came back out to see the person was cleaning the car while I waited to be dropped off at the airport. Customer service is not good.

We take responsibility for our delay on that day as that was the truth and we sincerely apologize as we did that day. We work hard at meeting our schedule on the ideal days.
Now the facts: This customer contacted for a rental car whilst already on-island. We advised we were running at near 100% capacity as the Island is very busy. However, we worked hard to secure this customer their rental and scheduled a pick-up at their local condo for the afternoon. The agency and our courtesy shuttle service had an extra-ordinary series of events that caused a delay in our shuttle pick-up times. WE CALLED THIS CUSTOMER at the originally scheduled pick-uptime to advise we were running 25 - 30 minutes delayed. At around 35 minutes our shuttle team called the customer to advise we were on our way to collect them. By the time the shuttle arrived at the condo it was about 1 hour past the scheduled time. However, the TRUTH is we did communicate at the original scheduled time our delay as mentioned above. Again, we profusely apologized as we did that day.
As to the closing comment: We are unclear what is being said here. The vendors from the car wash at the back of our facility are private and is not a direct part of our company's team. Again, we are uncertain what happened or why you were there.
We hope you enjoyed your vacation in the Cayman Islands and we are happy we were able to get you and your friends in a rental, at the 24th hour, for 4 days.

First vehicle was great. Had to return and switch in last day. Second vehicle was a little rough. Also vehicle was not ready. Waited 2 hours. Their booking agent was great. The staff that did the switch were a little less accommodating. I think manager came out and interjected. Took one hour from calling them at airport to drive off their lit with vehicle. I would try them again.

In transparency: We advised at your initial reservation that we could accommodate your reservation request except for the last day unless a switch in car is made as we were at 100% capacity. You agreed to this. We also contacted you to advise of an updated time for the pick-up of that second vehicle as we had a few issues impacting your pick-up time. You came early and we advised you to keep the car and return in couple hours. You chose instead to wait for the car of your own accord. We are hard-pressed to understand the issue as none of this was a surprise. We do however, extend an apology for any inconvenience caused by the delay on the switch-out and we appreciate your patronage, your desire for future business and the true acknowledgement of our service. We sincerely hope you enjoyed your holiday.

While the cars themselves may be a bit old and used, they are clean and in good working condition. What sets this organization apart, however, is the excellent and courteous service from all the staff. What a great and friendly group of people who really exemplify Cayman kindness!

We do wish to point out that less that 10 vehicles of our entire fleet are more than 4 years old with the vast majority being 2020 - 2022. Those 10 are due to be traded out end of year/early 2023. We rented a car in Georgetown, Grand Cayman and drove it for five days. The car was a small Chevy sedan and performed very well.
We were very pleased with the agency and the personnel. They were courteous and helpful. The did just exactly what they promised
and the billing and refund of the deposit were handled to our satisfaction. We would certainly used them again. Good value!
