I’ve rented with Maxx previously and haven’t had any issues. This time around on the way to blue mountain during my rental, the vehicle ran out of windshield fluid which made it difficult to drive in the snow storm and with salted water sprayed from other vehicles in front.
The car should have been checked and topped up of that fluid before my picking it up.
Rented a sprinter for trip to Quebec from Toronto. Picked it up no issues - had a reservation for 10am called to say I would be late - no one relayed the message and I got 2 more calls asking when I was coming. We get to Quebec and it’s -35C. The car wouldn’t start for a day and a half. We had to go to Canadian tire get a battery charger and cables and boost it the diesel van had no heat box. I called the office the workers were useless. There was a bit of confusion about where Maxx was located. For some reason, I was led to believe it was at the airport. That could be my fault, but I never was told it was in a hotel. This was rather confusing and should have been mentioned in the forms and in the phone call check-in prior. The rate was reasonable, but not extraordinary.
We booked our vehicle from Australia after finding Maxx through online search. The comunication was clear and fast, and the service was great.
The picked us from the airport soon after our flight arrival and the van was clean, modern and very spacious. We thought Maxx was terrific and would recommend using.
Mandeep and his team were really helpful, timely and efficient. We found the rental (Ford Transit Van 12 seater) really good and suited our needs for a snow holiday - transiting to Whistler and return from Vancouver. I would highly recommend MAXX Rental to friends and family.
The truck was ok, price is fair and service good.
We're we billed from the 22 eventhough we called and explained our flight was delayed, i specifically asked if this would effect our rental and was told no, would could collect the vehicle on the 23, we opted to take a Taxi to the house instead of keeping staff around late. We collected the Van on December 23 around 12 noonish
