Very pleased.
On arrival to LAX, the shuttle was fast and I was helped at the counter quickly. The agent allowed me to waive the damage ins due to my credit card, but stated I was required to pay for liability even though I have insurance at home, adding 14.95 a day to the rate she also charged me a higher rate than quoted (daily vs weekly). She corrected that after I pointed it out. I ended up paying more than I would have with special rates and treatment from the big companies. My friends rented at Fox.
Car I received did not have a tag on it. It still had a dealer tag.I didn't have any issues with this but it made me very uncomfortable driving. I'm not familiar with the driving laws in CA but where I am from you cannot have a dealer tag on the car like that. Wish someone would have explained the rules to me.
Very happy. Will use MCAR again next rental.
The registration/vehicle pickup process took a bit longer than expected but the staff was very polite.
New shuttle is very confusing and extremely late. No signage describes that you take the inbound blue shuttle and return via Joe's. Long time customer will not ever return to Midway for this experience. Now a Dollar fan.
