I reserved an economy class car. When I got to the rental counter I was offered a chance to upgrade to a larger car. I know this is a common up sell technique. I declined and told the agent that I wanted the car I reserved. After all was said and done, he did upgrade me. I'm guessing he knew that he didn't have the class of car that I reserved and had to upgrade me and was trying to make a little extra money off of me. I felt that was a little deceiving. I wanted the small class for fuel mileage
My "Go-To" car rental company when flying into Burbank or LAX. The lowest rate 98% of the time. My only complaint, which isn't the fault of Midway, is the ridiculously long walk in a remote area at Burbank from the terminal to the car rental area. Very poor planning on the part of the airport expansion designers, and they obviously did not consider the convenience and comfort of the travelers.
Midway Rental exceeded our expectations! Having never been to LAX we did a lot of research to find the easiest, reasonable car rental company possible. I am glad I did my homework! It was very easy to get the shuttle and when we got to Midway there was no line! The customer service was fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable, and got us right on our way. Our shuttle drive, Nettie, was the sweetest person and even had starburst waiting for us. The car was great! We will be back! THANK YOU!

Try first time after read some reviews. It was great experience. Joe parking facility is close to airport and shuttle service was excellent. Front desk guy me offer upgrade without my request and told me to check car before any paper work. They give me a brand new car ,was cleaned. Drop off car is easy and they can print you receipt at drop off location. Going back to airport also easy. Joe shuttle is around corner and they pick me in no time. I enjoyed my LA trip with MIDWAY rental car. GO MID

Great bargain. Great service from the rental counter and the team who provide the car at the start / accept the return at the end. Very friendly and professional. I would suggest making it clearer (like in the text of an email, rather than via visuals that look like ads on the side) that Joe's shuttle is picking you up at the Hotel/Courtesy Shuttle spot. (Also, the Joe's vehicle that picked me up had a broken air conditioning system and closed windows, which was very uncomfortable.)
Extremely happy with the car and quality! Did a lot of driving and only went through a tank of gas. The people who served us when we got there were extremely friendly and helped us with little deals which I really appreciated.
The only thing that was below standard was shuttle service but we got to and from the airport in a timely manner.
Good value for the price.
