I loved Midway, but my experience this time was not the best. Shuttle pick up was great, but once in the rental office the efficient service stopped. There was not one sign in the new office that said "M Car" / "Midway". I stood in line for about 20 minutes without moving wondering if I was even in the correct place. The agents working were having trouble getting the cars pulled up and looked a bit frustrated at the system themselves. With only 3 people in front of me,an hour wait was too long.
The web directions on how to find the shuttle driver upon leaving the airport (LAX) were very good. I did not have wait long. Received a Toyota Camry which was a good car to drive around congested Los Angeles. However, returning the car was difficult because they operate in a building that is a hotel I think which is next to Joe's Parking. There is no signage for MCar so I had to drive around aimlessly looking for the entrance that was not Joe's Parking lot (arm down/take a ticket entrance).
Everything was quick, easy, and smooth. Only one minor challenge, we were driven to the airport by Joe's courtesy shuttle to depart for our flight home, but we were dropped at the arrivals instead of the departures. Don't know if that is the policy of Joe's or if the driver made a mistake. I asked driver and he had no answer.
As always, advertised price is way lower to actual price when you add the necessary insurance. Nevertheless great experience
