No pickup had to uber there. A lot of hidden fees that added up to almost another $100. In the end, wasn't worth any savings.

Horrible company, bordering on fraud. I filed a complaint with the TX attorney general's office. Tricking your customers into renting by false, low price offers and then jacking the rates, or mandating cash deposit (not credit card???) is not acceptable and certainly not a path to success.

I should have read the reviews first. It's very close to a scam company. Beside the hidden fees, the car that had 85k miles and was falling apart, the rude staff at the Tampa location, overall it's the feeling everything they say or do is fishy and not trusworthy

The advertising makes you think the vehicle is on airport grounds. The return is our issue. Shuttle driver was late we almost missed our 7:20 AM flight and are too old to run through the airport.

This business is a scam! for more info, please review the Better Business Bureau website: https://www.bbb.org/us/fl/belle-isle/profile/car-rental/stride-rent-a-car-0733-235975352. Please DO NOT work with this company or their other affiliated (e.g., stride rent a car, NextCar, MEX, Zoom, Surprice, Priceless Car Rental, Wheego, United Rent a car, Street.). If one name gets too much heat, they often just switch their primary branding on travel sites to one of their other aliases.

We waited in line hours to get our car. They charged us an extra 125.00 more than the price I had in writing. The cats check engine light was on and they wouldn’t exchange it unless I came back which I had no time so we couldn’t even drive to places we wanted to for fear we would break down
