Not having to wait in line like you do at other rental car companies was terrific. Partnered with being able to drive a Tesla at a cheaper price than Hertz or Enterprise. This is a must-do experience!
Reservation was made 5 hours prior to reservation time, and reservation was not processed and approved until 20 minutes before reservation time. When reservation finally was assigned, it was at a different location because original location did not have any vehicles left. Other location was an additional 20 minutes away which when combined with the late turnaround lead to a poor experience.
I started the rental process about 7 am the day I was leaving. I jumped through all the hoops with photos and insurance info. I received a confirmation but no information as to where to pick up my car or what the shuttle looked like. After 20 phone calls, actually hung up on and 10 promises that someone would call me back, as well as several emails and text messages I landed without any more information, had to Lyft and missed commitments the next day because I did not have a car.
I never could receive confirmation of them receiving my information. I'd call them and then they would confirm. On to the next step, same thing. Get to the end and call yet a fourth time. They tell me I'm all set ready to go and I would receive my instructions 30 min before my reservation started. Got off the plane, tried calling again because I hadn't received it, couldn't get anybody to answer then I get a text that my reservation was canceled because they were out of cars! Never again
