They customer service were very friendly and helpful in person and on the phone. I was afraid the rate was too good to be true and that there would be several up sells as it has happened with other car rental companies. Not true the quoted rate was honoured and I received an upgrade to boot. The return was just as easy.
Added sur charges not previously mentioned, waited 2 hours in line, lost my car reservation because of it, had to pay for extra insurance because I didn’t have direct confirmation from my Credit Card to Routes Rental , that they covered me in case of an accident. ( I am covered ) . It’s is a horrible way to do business. I will never rent from this company again, and I will go out of my way to make sure others do t get duped either.
I requested a car, received a SUV but it was a very nice ride. The only other hiccup was making my way to the shuttle. If we're not from the area, the instructions to get to viscount can be confusing and I'm not from the area. The EMPLOYEES were VERY kind...a smile can go a long way. Thank you again
While it was the most affordable vehicle, I would have been willing to pay a bit more for a bit more comfort. There were no lights in the interior cabin, so I couldn't see inside the car at night. The check engine light would go on and off and the car seemed to shake a lot while operating. It completely turned off at one point while I was driving in the evening and I had to restart the car mid-drive to get it working again. It had trouble starting another day as well.
