We were given an economy car despite reserving a compact car on website. The clerk at pick up was not helpful & argued that we had selected economy. Husband left with economy but I ended up calling next day to complain. The man on phone gave better service & said he would give us an upgrade to standard at same rate as compact but we had to come back to pick up. (Time away from vacation.) When we returned car, we ended up getting charged for standard & not compact like we originally reserved.

Customer specifically asked for an economy (hatchback) car . Upon your request the next day we gave you a free upgrade to a standard vehicle and there is no extra charge as per our records. Please verify with your reservation. We do appreciate your business always.

I found this an extremely misleading company. Nowhere did it say that when I clicked to pick up at Toronto Pearson airport, that they weren't on site. We were supposed to take a train and then call to get picked up! I will never rent from them again!

Somehow, the dates that I booked online were incorrect. I would have appreciated the rates online being honored, even if it was an error on my part. It was clearly an unintentional error and better customer service would have been to honor the rates.
