My second time renting from Routes/Toronto. Now I am sold! The first great customer experience was not a fluke. The service they provide leaves you with the impression they genuinely want to earn your business and they value you as a customer. How refreshing and I greatly appreciated it!

should inform customers about any highways not to take due to express tolls. i was unfamiliar with the area and unfamiliar with tolled highways and did not know about express toll highways

There are signs posted on the walls right behind the counters explaining the above. Also as per 407 ETR's website 'To help drivers avoid this problem, toll highway signs are placed strategically along routes leading to 407 ETR to let you know in advance that 407 ETR is a toll route.'
This was the first time I have rented off airport site and was a bit nervous/suspicious of doing this because the rate was so good.
Nervous because I'm older & not used to finding my way around huge airports, train links, shuttle locations etc. (Toronto Pearson)
Elaine & Ankit were very good, friendly and helpful. Getting from the rental location to the 401 was SO EASY and it saved me a lot of money. Now that I've done it once, I doubt if I'll rent again from a company right in the airport.

I hadn't heard about routes previously so I was a bit wary however the experience was a good one and I would recommend this company based on this. Elaine at the front was especially friendly and helpful.
Great service and got a good vehicle. Not particularly happy with the location and there was some pre-existing damage on the vehicle that needs to be fixed before it gets worse; but other than that I was happy. I would rent from Routes again and would recommend it to friends and family who don't mind the cab ride to the location.
