I have rented multiple times from Rugfed Rental and have enjoyed the staff and experience while using their vehicles. They offer significantly better rental experience over any of the larger conglomerate companies, even though I am a rewards member with several of them.
Rugged Rental was waiting for us at the airport upon our arrival which really helped get us on the road to our destination in a hurry. This is even more impressive due to the fact we arrived shortly before midnight. The car was everything we needed for winter travel. Highly recommend Rugged for your 4x4 needs.

We rented from Rugged Rentals because our vacation included a lot of driving in the winter in areas where we could experience snow storms. Luckily, we drove through very little snow, but when we did, we had the right vehicle. And when we had good weather, we were impressed by the vehicle's overall comfort and performance.
The entire process was smooth and efficient. The only issue was on the ride back to the airport in the van. None of the seat belts were working except for the front seats.
Not only was the customer service amazing (we had an 830pm pickup on a SUNDAY, then upon getting ready for return, couldn't locate the gas tank - and the customer service rep - Nate? - didn't make me feel like a moron at all. He explained it and our return was super easy) but the vehicle itself was in fantastic shape. I have a birthday party event coming up and if i need a van I'm DEFINITELY coming back to Rugged Rental.
Great experience, the reviews I read before I rented were right on. Staff was awesome and the rental was more than I expected. Can’t wait to rent from them again.

Made my first trip to UT for skiing and for convenience wanted to rent my own vehicle. Looked into rentals through the airport, none of which had good reviews. Was on a TripAdvisor blog and one recommended looking into Rugged Rental. A little pricier but I was guaranteed the vehicle of choice. Overall very pleased with my experience. The customer service was great, check-in and check-out process was easy + straight forward. Highly recommend+plan to use for future trips to UT.
