Truck with truck bed cover was not available upon arrival, gear and luggage exposed to winter elements. Trucks transmission smelled and may need service. Rental worked but not ideal arriving on a closed day only 1 worker present to pickup and check in. Returned before operating hours requiring another parking service to drop off at airport for additional fee. Had we received truck with truck bed cover we would have not been as bothered but overall would’ve prefer major rental company.
By far the most cost effective rental in the area, especially to get a 4WD vehicle which was needed for many of the activities we had planned in the area! Great vehicle, better than expected, and zero issues.

Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV was awesome vehicle with four wheel drive. Only issue was it had all weather tires and not snow tires. I had to rent snow slippers for the front two tires to get up the hill where my house was located.
Zero pressure. And I arrived a day late due to last minute changes that I forgot to tell them but they accommodated me without issue.

Excellent service from pickup at SLC airport, collecting vehicle, to return. All staff members were courteous and professional. I especially appreciated Bubba, the driver on my return to the airport. He’s a great guy! The driver side windshield wiper blade was worn out, which I replaced. I was refunded the amount of the new blade, which I appreciated. The four-wheel-drive worked well in snow. I am very pleased and plan to use Rugged Rental again on my next trip to Salt Lake City.
