I was very happy with Rugged Rentals and would definitely recommend them to all renters. They do no upsell you and don't switch out your car at the last minute. I highly recommend

Impeccable experience - refreshingly different from the large mainstream car rental companies. Great service, from start to finish. Vehicle was brand new and exactly as requested. The fact that Rugged Rental allows its vehicles to be driven on unpaved, improved roads makes all the difference. Add to this the fact that the company also offers insurance for non-US drivers - perfect. Will definitely rent from Rugged Rental again, thank you to the entire team!
The staff has always been professional
Renting with Rugged was the best rental experience I have ever had. The shuttle to/from the airport was quick and efficient with friendly and helpful drivers. The cost was amazing. We were pleasantly surprised to get a higher level vehicle than we had anticipated. The ladies in the office who handled the paperwork were kind and quick. Overall, superb experience.

The van we rented had a large dent on the sliding passenger door and other damage. It was a bit disconcerting upon seeing it, but in the end, the van worked great and it wasn't disruptive to our experience. It did make the door a bit tougher to close.
Everything was perfect ! The car was the one I requested, almost brand new (2550 miles !) in a perfect condition. Great staff also ! Will rent again from Rugged if I come back.
