Great vehicle and service!
When the van picked us up at the airport we placed our suitcases at the rear of the van. The young man opened the rear doors of the van and asked " would you like help in lifting those bags into the van?" I looked at the young man and said "of course." I'm not sure if he was just being lazy or was just letting me know that a tip would be expected. I just thought it was poor customer service. I tipped him $5 as I had already intended.
Found a cell phone from previous customer in car. Rear hatch opening had not been cleaned. The hatch opening, hinges, and pistons we're caked in mud in many spots. There was a clause in our Rugged Rental contract not to take it off paved roads.
I arived back at the rental shop way before I needed to get to the airport and they let me wait in their shop so I did not have to deal with the hassel at the airport.. All worked out great.
Rental company was just off airport property, but they were quick to shuttle us to their location. Quick to get us in the vehicle and on the road. Return was the same way. Quick drop off and quickly got on shuttle back to the airport. Super friendly, very good experience and very good rates. Would definitely rent from Rugged again.
The rental experience was great, the van was okay(had a slightly annoying shake)
