Don't let the fact that they don't offer unlimited miles scare you! Their rates are so much cheaper than so of the other compatibles at SLC that even if we went over A LOT it was still going to cost us less. Shuttle was prompt both times we used it. Car was fine. Staff was helpful and friendly. They let is borrow a cooler they had on hand so we wouldn't have to buy one. I will definitely use them again if I'm even back in SLC.
Only location we could find that had reasonable pricing. With family in the area we come to Utah often and will continue to rent front this company!

Great experience! We rented a Jeep Wrangler and were surprised to get the Rubicon. Our family of 4 loved the Jeep as we explored Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons for 11 days. We also received outstanding customer service from Rugged Rental. We were running a little late when returning the vehicle and their airport shuttle was already out so they gave us a ride to the airport in the Jeep. We would definitely rent from Rugged again!

Super helpful, kind, they actually answer the phones!!!!! Got in an accident (not my fault) Totally taken care of by Rugged. A perfect place to rent your car in Salt Lake City.
Had to return/exchange original vehicle as front tires were worn past wear-bars with handling severely affected. Staff exchanged vehicle promptly with upgrade and discounted total charge. An inconvenient event but was handled exceptionally by staff. I would definitely rent from Rugged Rental in the future.
Everything was seamless. From making the reservations, to pick up, to return, everything went smoothly. The office staff is very helpful and our car was spotless. Could not have asked for a better experience.
