Very nice staff and probably the first time a rental agency wasn’t pushy with trying to upsell (insurance etc.).
Rugged Rental was great. Our flight was 3 hours late, and they still had someone stay after hours to pick us up when our flight came in. Staff was excellent when both picking up and dropping off the vehicle. Couldn’t have asked for better service or value. Would definitely recommend, and will rent from them again next time we are in Salt Lake City .
We have nothing but praise for Rugged Rental. Everything, and I mean everything, went extremely smooth from beginning to end. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a rental vehicle in the Salt Lake area.

Rugged Rental was awesome. They were very quick to respond to questions and even provided a cooler at no extra charge. They texted me before my trip and confirmed my arrival. The person texting me told me thier name and that they were picking me up... unheard of in the car rental world. By the time I got to the pickup location they were arriving to pick me up. Awesome service! I will recommend anyone going to Salt Lake rent from Rugged Rental. Worth every penny!
Easy, friendly, convenient and affordable!
Fantastic experience from even before booking! Was directed to an online reservation as it would provide us with a better deal. When we arrived the SUV that we selected was overbooked so we were upgraded to a much nicer SUV with all of the bells and whistles! The company also provides some great additional items for free, just request them in advance, that would be perfect for the area. Pickup and return was smooth from the airport and all paperwork went quick! Will 100% rent from again!
