Super friendly staff that were so helpful upon arrival and departure. Great vehicle to go up to Powder Mountain and into the higher elevations where you have to have 4x4. Best thing was not having to wait for the shuttle to take you over to pick up the vehicle. All of the main rental agencies in the airport had long lines to get your car and it was so relieving to walk past those and right to the shuttle to pick up the vehicle with no wait. Will be using Rugged Rental every time we go back!
I was very pleasantly surprised by the service, staff, and cleanliness of the vehicle. I was a little worried about using an offsite rental service, but there was absolutely no trouble with the offsite shuttle and honestly felt like I received awesome customer service compared to other major car rental companies. The prices were also competitive. If I return to SLC there is no question I would rent from them again. Also I appreciated the little detail like the ice chest we were able to use.

I've rented from rugged a few times and have never been disappointed there vehicles and service are the best in salt lake as far as I'm concerned.
The Dodge Truck was very good. However it did leak a bit of oil on the driveway of the house that we were staying.
Perfect rental experience
This is the second time I have used Rugged, and everything went perfectly. Their customer service is amazing. I arrived at 10:30pm, and they had an employee stay after closing to pick us up at the airport in a shuttle and take us to get our vehicle. It took less than five minutes, and we were on the road. Drop off was just as smooth. Took less than five minutes to be in a shuttle driving to the airport. I will always use them when available, and have recommended them to several friends.

In the winter, it is important to be driving an all wheel drive vehicle. No other rental car location offers or will guarantee one.
