This place was fantastic. A great rental experience. You reserved a specific vehicle - with AWD- and that’s what you got! I’ve already referred them to other travelers to SLC and would definitely use them again.
Other than the park n jet not being 24/7, this was a very pleasant rental experience. It cost nearly twice as much as the major competitors, but my 4x4 was guaranteed. If prices were a little lower, I would be completely sold on Rugged Rentals. The guarantee of a 4x4/awd was the selling point for me.

Very smooth, quick, reasonably priced, great vehicle for snow, helpful staff both when I called and on-site.
This is my second time renting with Rugged Rentals and their customer service is impeccable. Plus, they will guarantee a 4WD or AWD vehicle which is very important to me as I drive on the snowy mountain roads. Most major rental agencies will not guarantee that your vehicle is 4WD/AWD, and Rugged STILL beats them on price, value and service.
