We booked at convertible VW over 1 month in advance. Instead we were given a Fiat 500. In was really to small for 4 people. We were told the cat we reserved was “unavailable”. So we requested any thing larger, we quoted at rate 4x our booked rate. They gave us a $10 discount to make due with that tiny sub standard vehicle. Then to top it all off the vehicle they gave us was empty fuel tank and we have to search for a station to fill it up prior to starting our day.

A part from the trunk that couldn't be opened in the first car, and missing window-cleaner liquid in the second car, all was ok!
Comparable car, but very old. Cigarette adapter did not work, so phone charging or GPS would have been issue. GPS was booked and paid for, but not provided - still trying to get refund. A/C upper vents stopped working on second day (lower vents did continue to work). Car very rough. That said, process was easy, we were met on time and greeted kindly.
My rental experience was great a staff member came to the hotel I was staying at with the car and explained everything I needed to know. It was very easy with returning the car, I was asked to leave it behind my hotel
I would let people know that the gas stations close early. I thought I had enough gas, but as we were approaching our hotel and tried to get gas at 10:30 pm it was not possible. I put gas in earlier in the day since when I received the car it was basically on empty. I would have put more gas in had I had the car for the full 24 hours. I received the car at 11 am and was asked to let them know that evening by midnight that I was done with the car, so someone could retrieve it.
