Good service but, the branch needs better signage, not so easy to locate.
Hands down, the best customer service I have ever had with a car rental company. All of the employees were friendly and personable. Since they are not located in the San Diego airport car rental building I thought being picked up by them would be more of a hassle but I was completely wrong. It was exceptionally easy and I saved a ton of money that I then got to use for doing more things while on vacation. United Auto Rental is the best! Will use again. Highly recommended!
People in Ontario were wonderful. Office was pretty gross and depressing. Car was 85K + miles. It ran okay but one window wouldn’t roll down (child lock off), rubber door seal came off when I opened the door, and the guy who grabbed our car must’ve sprayed a full can of axe body spray in it, it smelled terrible and we had to drive with all windows down (on interstate) for a couple of days before the stink was gone, even tho it lasted on our clothes longer.
I thoroughly enjoyed the process as well as the courtesy of the staff. When I return to California I will call United Auto Rental.
Overall, I received what I expected for the great rate for an economy rental. The staff was friendly, the car functioned well, but had high miles and not a lot of features to it.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! They took care of all my needs, they even let me leave the car at the hotel for a late drop off!!!! Thank you SOOOOO much:)

The staff at United Auto Rental in Newport Beach was very prompt & helpful. Our trunk latch was jammed 2 days into rental and they fixed it quickly. Value was great -- we saved ~$80 over 4 days vs the leading auto rental chain.
