I had an issue with the original car I picked up and I called the office and they told me to come in and they would give me another car. They were very nice and accommodating to my needs to make sure I was safe while driving their car.
Our first time flying in to John Wayne Airport.....United was perfect for our needs 🙂
The car I rented was a Mitsubishi Mirage. It felt lightweight and tinny. The engine had a difficult time attaining 65 mph freeway speed, especially uphill, and even in the right hand lane vehicles were trying to pass. Not a good fit for SoCal freeways.
When I asked why they weren’t honoring the price I booked it for they indicated that the 3rd party “sets different policies than they do and next time to refer to their actual website for any extra charges” Which totally defeats me choosing their business in the first place. I went from a $34/day fee to $85/day for the smallest cheapest vehicle. I wanted to walk out but I didn’t have the time anymore to search.
