When we arrived in San Diego you did not have a car for me. Bad. However, you already booked me with Avis with an upgrade. Good. You promised to pay difference between Avis' rate and the rate you quoted. Good. Wanted me to stop by United Auto to pick up the difference after I got the receipt from Avis. I had to point out that after returning car I would not have a car and would have to take a cab. Hopefully, will get settled electronically through e-mail. Actual refund will change rating.

My 289 quote ended up being 450 dollars at the end, The Mustang we rented was kinda beat up. and in bad Mechanical shape. I was threaten with damage charges before I Evan left the lot. with a 650 doller hold on my credit card. My online quote nearly doubled in price. Evan after I told the guy I already had my own insurance. For what I paid I should have gotten a way better car.

Staff was prompt and courteous. United Auto Rental is a significantly smaller operation than Hertz or Enterprise, but the pricing and ease of access make it a comparable (and in my opinion, more favorable) option. Affordable and simple--I'll definitely rent again!
I wish you all had more extended hours. My flight was delayed so had to come back to the airport the next day to pick up my car. Also, I'm not sure if I could consider a Toyota Corolla mid-sized car...
