The rental process was easy and stress free. The vehicle was well maintained and comfortable for our long drive.
United Van Rental is quick to respond, have great customer service and meet our needs every year we travel to Long Beach!
30 minutes before scheduled pickup time I received a call and I was informed that the van I made reservation for is not available and I'll have to wait at least 2 more hours. Too bad because I already had people for this rental. I canceled my reservation and found another company where I got a van for the entire weekend and also for less! I doubt I'll ever contact United Van Rental again.

Sir, The van was at our office and waiting for you to pick-it up. You never showed up to rent the van. We did not call you to cancel. We did not tell you it would be 2 hours to rent the van. We never heard from you.

It is the 2nd time I rent from the United Van. Service is good and price is as agreed without any extra charge.
The rental experience was completely soured by poor company procedures and these poor procedures being blamed on me the customer. I returned the vehicle to where I had been instructed and was then charged 300 bucks for a parking fine because this was the wrong location. I explained this nicely to the staff on the phone and via email and they would have none of it. They just wanted to recover the money from me even though it was clearly their fault. Very poor don't rent from these people.

Mr Miles, Our staff explained to you when you picked the van up to return the van to Lot C at the airport. Your wife Sally called thirty minutes before you returned the van to confirm where to return the van. I spoke to her and told her Lot C. Sir, you parked the van in the Cell parking lot which is a restricted lot next to lot C. There are signs everywhere indicating Lot C and the Cell lot. We did not fine you $300. The van was ticketed and towed by the Los Angeles police department. We sent you a copy of the ticket and the invoice for the impound.
Due to the age of some of our passengers, I will rent the High-Top version of the Ford Transit van next time; The only negative is that the seats are not interchangeable. in the version of the van we/I rented
We were super pleased with this experience! The ease of picking and dropping off the van was a huge perk!
My experience was great and I will rent from United Van Rentals again. Their service and quality of vehicles is better than other companies. Glad I found them.
