It was really difficult to locate a van to rent at SFO the 'big' companies. We went with Airport Van Rental and had a good experience and got a good rate. The shuttle has to pick you up from the rental car location in SFO airport and drop you back there for the flight back. This needs to be factored into the time - everything else went well. Thanks.

The personnel at the IAH location [both desk and prepping the vans] were courteous and seemed efficient. The van operated fine.
However, the rental process creates problems.
- Reservation times are not honored; 3 1/2 hour wait for pickup is not acceptable
- unable to reach location specifically without extensive hold time and call transfer
- the online system does not show an error when invalid pickup / dropoff times are chosen (i.e. 7 am before office opens)
Plan late and agency closed before I arrived. Had to pick up next day and pay competition 350 for one day rental.
Car great, people great, will us you guys again.
only con is that i thought they were open till 6pm and nobody informed me that they closed at 3pm therefore i would need to take the van to a different location for drop off and pay a fee

This was my second time renting from Airport Van Rental and it has definitely become my go to whenever I need a passenger van. I have a large family and I run a nonprofit organization, and van rental is often useful for both.
Van was not in a good shape, Van was shaking as soon as we cross 65MPH, Heater was not working properly in the rear of the van
Brand new 15 seat Ford Transit that I've got from AVR is a good van for average loads/ road conditions but does not have the power needed to negotiate through hilly terrain when fully loaded! Thanks to it's manual mode I was able to set transmission on 1-st or 2-nd gear and drive! Everything else was great about the vehicle.
