I rented 11 passengers vehicle from AVR. They kindly modified the seat for 8 passengers. The vehicle was well maintained Ford. Both exterior and Interior were clean and tire seems very good condition. Unexpectedly, I have to buy insurance because it was large van. But the price was reasonable.($55/ day) I did not know they have a service to pick up from LAX, so I used taxi to come to the office. But it is just my misunderstanding. Hopefully, they should told me the service.
I reserved two vans online and requested tow hitches for both of them. When I arrived I was told they need 48 hours notice to get tow hitch vehicles, and they didn't have any. There was nothing about this stipulation on the website or my email when I made the reservation.
Mike was very nice and we managed to pick up a tow vehicle the next day, but only one. The light connection didn't work, so we didn't have a right turn signal or hazards on our trailer. Dangerous and illegal.
Received an email just before my trip saying someone would contact me before arrival to give instructions on pick up. This never happened. Ended up dragging our luggage around trying to find the pick up spot. Had to call to get picked up. Other than this issue everything was fine.

First of all, I was pulled over and ticketed for expired tags on my rental, it was absolutely humiliating. At the end of our rental, we took the van back to after hours location we told to go to by staff and they would not accept the van back. The agency did not sign a contract to their agency and they could be no help to us. Van rental worker said he could not help us until 7am. my plane left at 8:15 am I missed my plane and am completely frustrated with the whole company. very unprofessional.
Everything are all great only the wait a bit long. My pick up time for the Van is at 8:00AM and i am there at 7:50AM but i still have to wait almost 9:00AM to get the van.
really great service and affordable great customer service in the lax location would be renting more vehicles there in the near future
Poor directions were give to get to rental place. When I got to the rental place the minivan was broken and there were no other minivan's available. Had to get a rental from another agency!
They offered one of the larger Econo vans but they are just too big!
