In the past I was allowed to add a driver even if the driver wasn't present at the time. Not any more I found out in this last visit.
Service and rental was excellent.
The van itself and the staff were both very good. The physical location will definitely "scare away" many second time customers. The area isn't very "appealing" and being a marketing teacher I understand cost structures...to save money you have to "give" on location. Personally, I would rent again but other renters at the location were a bit awe struck by the building location :) .
An additional $20 drop off fee that wasn't on the agreement was added, the staff put the "blame" on the website, very un-professional and they would not adjust it.
The AC in the van did not work, it was very hot where we were and we were very uncomfortable. Unfortunately we were too far away to return the van for another. Also had to put air in the tires........ The van condition was poor at best.
This is our third time renting a van for an annual trip and, as always, it was a great experience. Everyone was very nice, and the vehicle met all of our expectations. Our only negative was that the rate was substantially higher than the other two years - not as good a value as in the past.
Overall a good experience. Requested a particular van model when I arrived at the counter which was available, but just needed to be washed, the staff did NOT go out of their way to accommodate. Ended up with a different van that served the overall purpose. Van was what I had expected, a bit dirtier inside (dusty dashboard, wear and tear on the seats, etc.) than you would see from most rental car companies. Would rent from this company again, everything as expected, not above and beyond.
Great Service
Good prices, bad service. The cars that were available all smelled. Had to come back later in the trip to swap vehicle.
