What a GREAT experience! Sal helped us at the front counter professionally and courteously, ensuring he explained all the nuances of the van and its operations (including the spare tire located in the front of the vehicle, so if we were to get a flat tire, we'd need to call a service because the van had to be jacked up to get access to the spare). The van was cleaned up for us and we were on the road in no time. This was a pleasant and efficient van rental that we highly recommend!
Excellent rates for the same vehicle that would cost more from another agency. Great value!
Great service
Over all it was great. But the van was not clean, inside or out. Funny thing, I asked if the Vans are washed, the Rep. said yes, but we both could plainly see that it was not. & the van that had requested, was not the one I received. I didn't question it. But no one mentioned why either.
I will be using AVR, whenever I have the need too. ( 4 or more people).

Everything went smoothly. The vehicle was a great deal. I was disappointed that they would not drive us to our hotel after I dropped off the vehicle, especially since it was brought back a day early.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND AVR. We had a party of 8. We confirmed the reservation 3 days prior to arrival. When we arrived at the airport (IAH) and called for AVR to pick us up, they indicated that they did not have a van for us. We spent 3 hours calling AVR, AVR corporate in LA, and then had to go to Avis to rent a Suburban, at more than double the price, to accommodate our group. AVR was unhelpful and tough to contact for customer service. AVR did partially reimburse the difference.
