I've rented vans from Airport Van Rental since 2008 and my most recent rental experience was the easiest and most satisfying to date.
Did not like how we were drop off to an empty parking lot
Huge issue with my reservation, it took about 4 hours for me to take off with rental after have done reservation several weeks in advantage.
Great value. Plan to use this company again.

Very helpful staff
I am very satisfied with this rental. The van had the size specified and performed well during the period of time we had it. Also, the people at the agency were great and very nice to deal with. My only complain is van condition in general. Even though it was a well maintained car, there were clear signs of wear and tear (The spare tire worn out and multiple dents). Most of it is cosmetic but still, I am used to relatively new cars with other agencies and this was obviously not a new vehicle.
My only complaint is, I was told that if I returned the car late I would be charged for the extra day at the rate of $1,900.00/day (the rate was under $400 for the 1st day). This was in Oregon during the total eclipse, and AVR knew that people might have trouble getting back in time due to heavy traffic. Charging this predatory rate is just plain old gouging. The employees were all lovely, but would I rent again...never! ps: i made it back in time!
Who will bring utility bill when renting vehicle? I use my nickname on my credit card and agent won't accept my card. I was going to show proof it's the same person but agent shut me out.
