vehicle was high mileage and some trim missing. Not what I would typically expect from a rental vehicle.
Staff was great, the vehicle was just as advertised, no surprises which is what you want. Prices were lower than other rental companies. I usually am a stickler for renting from the bigger name brand companies so was a little concerned but that was removed immediately upon arrival and was greeted by the staff. Would rent from them again for sure.
I had an issue with the rates when talking over the phone ( one staff member gave me one rate, another gave me a higher one for the exact same days and van size) so I decided to do it on my own online and the rates were better
Great experience
I travelled for the first time with children and I was very disappointed with the car seat. It was filthy and didn't fit properly in the back seat. I wish there were pictures of what was available before we rented otherwise, I would have brought my own. The pick up was very slow and our van was not even ready. It took forever for the guys to fill up the gas tank however, the receptionist was very nice.
A bit frustrated to not get vehicle i booked online.
I would definitely recommend a friend to this place. There were no surprises and great customer service.
So first thing I always do before confirming reservation is to ask questions like rate etc. I asked if I can use 2 cards and they responded yes. So they gave me the quote and when I got to the rental agency 2hrs away... I was told I have to also pay a deposit. My final receipt didn't have that on there. I showed your staff my receipt. I had to make 2 trips 8hrs. Later a lady emailed with an apology and a readvised final receipt. I've never paid a deposit with any rental companies. disappointed
After reading reviews on Yelp, we were very hesitant about renting from AVR. However, our experience was superb; nothing like what others had written!! We were picked up in 10 minutes from the call for pick up; greeting was professional and the gentleman was very accommodating, informative when we asked questions about driving directions, the area and more. Front desk staff had our van waiting for travel, collected our information and got us on the road quickly! I loved the prices service.
I will definitely recommend this place. Great service and prices are reasonable!
