1st Surprise : Requested van for 12 not available, the available 11 people van same price.
2nd " : On the quote it says unlimited mileage, we had to pay extra, nowadays it is all unlimited.
3rd " : From initial quote of $ 225.00 we ended up paying $ 361.00.
4th " : The beaten up 11 people van could not start, were given a current year 12 people van, why no van ?
Last: My B-day should not be shown on reservation.
Everything turned out Surprise.
I rented a 15 passenger van that had the back 2 seats removed, leaving space for 8 people plus tons of stuff in the back. Fuel economy wasn't great, but the price of the van plus fuel was still less than the cheapest available car. The only bad things were, the driver's seat leaned slightly to the right, and the van pulled to the right, like it needed a wheel alignment.
My husband and I ALWAYS receive outstanding customer service when picking up and returning our rentals. We've recommended AVR to a bunch of our family and friends and they also have received excellent customer service.

I've used AVR many times in the past -- I'm a regular customer. This is the second time that there hasn't been a vehicle available at the time I had reserved it. I think AVR is a great value, and I like the people that work there, but if there isn't a vehicle ready to go at the reserved time, then that's a big problem. This time, they did find a work around for me -- I used a vehicle that had been in a accident. But I'll likely take my business somewhere that can deliver, one time & budget.
