The inefficiency of our rental experience was the worst I have ever encountered. I honestly don't understand how AVR in lax stays in business. It took forever to get a vehicle as well as to get picked up.
I should get a good rates next time because i always rent my vehicle here.
Great value. I would rent again from avr.
The reservation said unlimited miles but when we got there because we are local we did not get that. That should be stated in the beginning. Also had to wait over 45 minutes to get our Van. Agents were walking around talking and not doing their job.
Waiting room needs to be clean and neat.. or remodeling..
Pickup and drop off guy was awesome. Van was not very clean but considering we were going into the country areas it wasn't a big deal.
The value is great, but the wait times (for picking up and teturning) are a bit long.
The mileage for the van I rented was ten miles over than what was on the paperwork, the guy had scratched the mileage on my paperwork out but never changed it in the system. The van was dirty inside and out.
Returning the van was just the opposite experience of pick-up. Waited over 20 minutes to be helped. Staff seemed very disorganized.
Staff was kind. The quoted rate did not include Mexican insurance. The shuttle to get there was difficult. The van was great.
