I believe that I can get a better quote whereelse. As a returning customer, I expected a better deal and a better car. In general customer service was nice.
Insurance requirements need to be clearer
This was our first experience with Zoom. I found them to be very good and fair; with excellent employees. My car was not new but worked just fine. Their location, beside the Best Western and close to the Toronto airport, accommodated our needs and I would gladly rent from Zoom again.
I had to make three times phone call and waiting for one hour to be pick up at the airport. The vehicle we booked is Nissan but we have a Hyundai, that weren't big issue, but the seat were so dirty, every seat had some coffer/drink or something else stain on it. The staff was offered a upgrade but will charge more.
Zoom's popularity -- and good value -- means you are very busy these days. I rented a year ago and service was very quick. This time both on renting and returning the office seemed understaffed for the clients. When we phoned for shuttle pick up the phone rang and rang, so I took a cab. When we returned the vehicle, we waited for about 30 minutes before being taken to the airport. Perhaps hire a "greeter" and double the shuttle service. We did appreciate the ride in our rental van, though.
Return a little slow.
My fourth year in a row renting from Zoom, so I guess that indicates satisfaction! The only problem I've had is their not sending me a copy of the invoice when I drop the car off after hours.
