I rent every other month from Zoom.. it's important I get picked up within minutes because I have a 3 hour drive to get to an 90 year old woman that is anxiously awaiting my arrival and I need to get out of toronto before the rush hour traffic. When Viola is working the shuttle she always makes this happen but this last time some guy picked me up 45 minutes later because he went to pick up a friend first then take him to some spot to drop him off and then get on to the Zoom rent a car place.
It was great. Could have been better if you accept cash or debit card
I use Zoom every summer while visiting family in Ontario. It's so convenient since I also stay at the Best Western next door. Thanks to all the staff. See you next year.
Only time I've had a three year-old car but it was okay and staff listened to my concerns and even compensated me for the minor issues.
The only thing I would've had an issue with was the pick up and drop off. I was told 10 minutes when i called to be picked up at the airport and ended up waiting half an hour. To return the car, It was a 40 minute process with just 2 people ahead of me.
It may have been my mistake, but I didn't see anywhere in the rental reservation website the fact that I would have a mileage limit of 200 km because I was a "local renter". This was very disappointing. Had I known beforehand, I would have rented anyway, but as customers, we don't like surprises regarding pricing.
