Check-in guy was condescending and rude. Accused me of lying and refused to believe that I hadn't smoked in the car and wanted to charge an extra fee.. Another employee checked and said he saw no evidence. I was told, again in a condescending way, that he wouldn't charge me "this time". Not to worry . . there won't be a next time
There were a few annoyances with pricing . . . there is no "unlimited kms", they require extra insurance for gold card booking and a $600 damage deposit. Bad..
I asked for a vehicle with a USB plug in. They said it had the USB plug. It did not. They did not seem to know what features individual vehicles actually had. They kindly provided a cigarette lighter USB plug which worked fine. The vehicle pulled constantly to the left while on the highway. The engine light came on part way to my destination which was disconcerting. In checking the manual, it did not appear to be a problem. But, all of these added up to "not the best" rental. I expected better.
I had booked the car for 13 days puls extra one hour but I was charged for full two weeks. But returned the car on completion of exactly 13 days i.e. one hour before - Friday October 03, 2014 at 3.00 PM through Thursday October 16, 2014 at 3.00 PM. I asked the counter person not to charge me rate for two weeks as I had returned the car exactly on completion of 13 days, he refused whatever charged at the time of booking, he is supposed to charge the same amount.
Overall it was a very positive experience - The woman helping us at the desk offered EXCEPTIONAL customer service and clearly explained the terms of our contract.

staff very courteous and helpful. vehicle I rented had a bad interior odour which was noted by zoom employee on initial inspection. overall not too bad price very good. this was my second time renting from zoom. I would still rent from them in the future.
Good car, great value for the price
Took a bit of time for shuttle to pick me up at the airport, but other than that exceptional service.
Contacting the office for ?'s prior to our p/u regarding p/u instructions etc. was very frustrating & the staff was not helpful. I had to ask the question & if I did not ask I had to call back. The whole experience should have been explained upfront & professionally. I felt I was bothering them.The next morning after we dropped off the car Zoom called me at 5 AM to ask me if I had the car keys! They could have checked where I lived called at an appropriate time.Why did THEY forget to get them?
